The MPC Story

Monument Presbyterian Church was planted by the Presbytery of Western Colorado in order to reach people for Christ in the Redlands area of Grand Junction. MPC was organized on January 1, 2001, with 143 charter members. Pastor Jeff Harmeling was our organizing pastor and remained in leadership until his retirement in 2016. We initially met at Wingate Elementary school, until the new church building at 2020-1/2 South Broadway was dedicated on July 25, 2004. MPC welcomed new pastors Megan and Tyson Babayco in June of 2021.
