Local Service opportunities
There are lots of ways to get involved in local missions through volunteering with one of our local partners. We encourage everyone at MPC to give back to the community in a way that fits your gifts and passions.

Good News Club is an after school club at Wingate Elementary that meets every Tuesday (September-March) from 4:00-5:00pm. Our desire is to bring the Good News of Jesus Christ to the students of Wingate through snack, conversation, music and Bible lessons. If you are interested in learning more or volunteering to be a Table Leader contact Linda Armour.
Once a semester we provide dinner for the Sunday Night Supper at the Christ Center, a ministry and coffee shop connect to Colorado Mesa University. The meal enables the Christ center to reach out to students through food and fellowship.
Partnering with HomewardBound we provide and serve meals once a month at their emergency shelter and Pathways Family Shelter. For more information on serving or helping to provide food for this monthly mission contact Linda Armour.
We have a wagon located in the narthex of the church (on the left when you first enter the building) for donation to our local Community Food Bank. Thank you to Barry and Gail Tuohig for faithfully delivering these donations!
Local Outreach
We seek to be witnesses to Jesus Christ in the Redlands and throughout the Grand Valley. We provide monetary support for many organizations throughout the valley who are doing wonderful work to care for our neighbors in need.
