Wednesday Night Class – A Great Cloud of Witnesses Hebrews 12:1 says “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us” This “great cloud of witnesses” the author mentions are all those people who have lived before us — whether famous or not — who have demonstrated faithfulness to God and have left us a rich spiritual legacy. Through knowing their stories, we are strengthened to persevere in our own walk with Jesus. Over the next couple months Megan will teach a class following the Wednesday night Gathering Dinner on various forefathers of faith who have influenced her and who can help guide us on our own spiritual journeys.
