Small Groups
We believe spiritual growth happens best in community. small groups are an important part of life together in Christ. They provide a space to build meaningful relationships, grow deeper in your faith, and walk through life together. Whether you’re exploring your faith or have been following Jesus for years, Small Groups offer an opportunity to connect, study God’s Word, pray together, and encourage one another in everyday life. We believe life is better when it’s lived in community—and there’s a place for you here.

Life groups
Why Life Groups?
We believe that spiritual formation is not a solo journey. It happens in the context of honest, Christ-centered community. Life groups are not just Bible studies or social gatherings — they are spaces where God shapes us to become more like Christ, together. And we believe that the church’s missional impact in the world depends on people who are deeply formed through rhythms of prayer, Scripture, vulnerability, and love in community.
What will we do in the group?
Each Life Group meeting will be made up of four parts, connecting, growing, practicing and praying. The Weekly Discussion Guide will use this format and provide questions in each of these categories:
1. Welcome and Connect (20 minutes)
This section is designed to build community and group intimacy
2. Grow Together (25 minutes)
In this section, the group will open Bibles and engage with sermon-based discussion questions
3. Practice (10 minutes)
Practices will be offered to challenge participants to go deeper. Some time should be taken to explore what this practice looks like and to discuss how it might be accomplished. These are not designed to be homework assignments.
4. Pray (5 minutes)
Groups will pray for each other and our community to close each time together.
How long does the group last?
Life Groups are usually 10 weeks and will be offered two quarters each year (spring and fall). Groups may continue to meet after the session ends if they choose.
What is the required commitment?
We hope that those who participate in Life Groups will make best efforts to come to most of the meeting times. We believe that this will help with building group rapport and will enable participants to get the most out of this opportunity.
Where/when do they meet?
Meeting times and locations will be determined by the group leaders. We hope to offer a variety of groups at various times and locations to allow maximum participation from congregants wanting to participate.
How can I sign up?
Opportunities to sign up will happen three weeks before each new Life Group session. Sign-ups will be available in the church narthex as well as online at our website. Participants will be able to sign up for the group that meets their needs for timing, and type of group.
How can I become a Life Group leader?
If you are interested in leading a Life Group in the future, please contact Megan Babayco (megan@monumentpc.org) to start that conversation.

Ladies Bible Study
Hosted in the MacArthur Home by Patti MacArthur
Patti has spent her whole mature years (55 years) studying the Bible, teaching and facilitating the understanding of the words written in the Bible for us to know. Even attending the Institute of Holy Land Studies in Jerusalem, Israel.
Only Jesus saves our souls, yet the Bible reveals the God most high and His plan to save. It gives us the only HOPE we have in this troubled world. While knowledge does not in itself save us from eternal peril, it helps us come to the one and only God of all creation who does! It teaches us to be strong and courageous in Jesus’ Spirit.
At 85, Patti lives day by day praising our Savior for continued breath and I desire to leave my deepest ‘HOPE in JESUS for everyone who will listen. We welcome ALL who desire to know the power of God, revealed in His plan, to come join us. This BIBLE is the most remarkable piece of literature ever written ‘for His own to know’. No prior knowledge required, just an open heart, a hungry soul. Do you want to deepen your faith. These ladies are very special. They will welcome you.
There are three options available:
