Spiritual Formation

"Spiritual formation is a process of being formed in the image of Christ for the sake of others." -Robert Mulholland

Formation at MPC

Spiritual formation is an intentional part of MPC’s programing. Every year as a church we focus
on three spiritual practices that coincide with our mission statement. A spiritual practice is a
habit-forming exercise that enables us to live more like Christ. Therefore, we focus on a practice
that helps us encounter Jesus, a practice that forms us more in the image of Christ, and a
practice that sends us into the world for the sake of others. These practices serve as the Rule of
Life for our community.
