Vocation Series Week 3: A theology of "Ordinary work" as Kingdom work

Jesus invites those who are weary not to sit in the clouds eating grapes, but to put on his yoke. A yoke is an image of labor. Jesus’ yoke is not idleness but partnership, working with Jesus to bring about the kingdom. That is what it means to be his disciple. Discipleship means apprenticing with Jesus in daily labor.
