Operation Christmas Child

"Let the children come to Me; do not hinder them, for such belongs the kingdom of God."
Mark 10:14

Demonstrating God's Love to Children Around the World

The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to share God’s love in a tangible way with children in need around the world. Through this project, Samaritan’s Purse partners with local churches globally to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and make disciples of the nations.

At its heart, this mission is about love, generosity, and discipleship—making a meaningful difference in the life of a child.

We invite both our congregation and the wider community to take part by packing shoebox gifts each November. You can also contribute year-round by collecting items and creating handmade gifts that add a personal touch. There are many ways to get involved: share your talents by leading craft efforts, help pack boxes online for those unable to shop, spread awareness among friends and neighbors, participate in local events like parades, or assist in delivering shoeboxes to a nearby collection site.

Ways To Get Involved

Pray

Lift this program up in prayer—locally, nationally, and around the world—that it would reach children with the love of Christ and have a lasting impact on their lives.

Pack a Shoe Box

Each year, we have the joy of packing shoebox gifts for children in need around the world. We invite you to join us—pack a shoebox to drop off at MPC or create one online to share hope and encouragement with a child.

Get Creative

Use your skills and craft items for our congregation members to add to their boxes. You can use your unique skills to create unique items to add to the boxes.

Process Boxes

Plan a trip to the Denver Processing Center to assist in preparing boxes for shipment in Nov/Dec. You will be amazed at the efforts of thousands of churches.
