Tijuana Mexico housebuild

“Go up into the mountains and bring down timber and build my house, so that I may take pleasure in it and be honored, says the Lord.” Haggai 1:8

Together We Serve

At Monument Presbyterian Church, we are honored to partner with DOXA Ministries. The word doxa is Greek for “Glory to God,” reflecting the organization's mission of serving others through faith in action.

DOXA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of families in Tijuana through housing, education, and community development. To date, DOXA has helped build more than 2,000 homes, providing safe shelter for over 10,000 people.

Families who receive a home are active partners in the process. They must own their land and contribute 250 hours of volunteer service before construction begins. Each year, volunteers from Monument Presbyterian Church spend a week serving alongside DOXA, helping build homes and strengthen communities while sharing Christ’s love in tangible ways.
